Control your charging from your pocket. The Zaptec app turns your phone into a charging command centre, letting you view charging history, give access to other users and lock the charging cable remotely, while Bluetooth Low Energy and an RFID reader give quick, secure access at the charger itself.

A backlit IPS LCD screen and RGBW LED status ring give clear, real-time feedback on charging status, and built-in 4G alongside WiFi keeps the charger connected and up to date with the latest features, wherever it's installed.

Money-Saving Charging

Make the most of your own solar generation. Zaptec Go 2 supports solar-optimised charging with 1-to-3 phase switching, automatically adjusting how it draws power to make better use of on-site solar generation for peak energy efficiency.

Smart management is built in via OCPP 1.6J or OCPP 1.6J cloud, giving fleet operators and multi-charger sites centralised control and the charger is designed to scale easily if you need to add more charge points at home or work later.

Renewable-Ready

Zaptec Go 2 is Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) ready, built with the hardware to eventually let your EV's battery give energy back to the grid or power your home, turning your car into a genuine energy asset as V2G functionality rolls out.

Safety & Reliability

Integrated residual current protection (RDC-DD, 6mA DC) automatically resets by replugging the Type 2 cable, and the charger is protected to Class I with 4kV AC and 6kV impulse insulation and overvoltage category III (4kV). Sensors continuously monitor temperature, overcurrent and humidity to keep charging safe.

An IP54-rated, IK10 impact-resistant enclosure with a UL94 5VB flammability rating and UV-resistant housing means the charger is built for indoor or outdoor installation in UK weather, operating reliably from -30°C to +50°C. It's backed by a 5 year guarantee.

Precision Monitoring

An integrated energy meter is MID Class B certified to EN 50470-1 and EN 50470-3, giving accurate, billable energy data direct from the charger, ideal for landlords, workplaces or anyone wanting precise visibility of their charging costs.
