AFMF24 Fusebox Consumer Unit 24P Mounting Frame

FuseBox AFMF24 is a 24P flush mounting frame for consumer units, made from 2mm steel and powder coated to RAL 9001. It lets you flush mount or semi-recess a wide 24P consumer unit into the wall for a neat, integrated finish.

Seamless Finish for 24P Consumer Units

The AFMF24 gives a crisp, straight border around the wall recess for a 24P consumer unit, covering rough cut edges in plaster or plasterboard. Depending on the installation, the board can sit flush or semi-recessed, so even a larger unit takes up less room and looks part of the building. It's a smart choice for larger homes, extensions and commercial fit-outs where a wide board needs a professional finish.

Rigid Steel, Lasting Finish

The frame is made from 2mm steel, so it stays rigid along its full 541mm width without flexing or bowing. The RAL 9001 powder-coated finish resists scuffs and knocks and sits neatly alongside a white consumer unit. A 481mm x 256mm opening within a 541mm x 316mm frame gives an accurate, clean surround for 24P enclosures.

Simple Two-Stage Installation

First, secure the frame to the wall with 4 x No.10 wood screws through its countersunk fixing holes, before inserting the consumer unit. Then fix the consumer unit base to the wall separately with 4 screws, leaving it at least 12mm proud of the wall so the front cover fits. The frame and base are not attached to each other, so you can position and level each one independently for a square, secure installation.
