AFSS24 Fusebox Consumer Unit 24P Surface Spacer

FuseBox AFSS24 is a 30mm surface spacer for 24P consumer units, made from 1mm electro-galvanised steel and powder coated to RAL 9001. It holds a wide consumer unit off the wall so surface cables and mini trunking can enter neatly behind it.

Surface Cable Entry Made Simple

The AFSS24 stands a 24P consumer unit 30mm proud of the wall, creating a generous cavity for cables to route in behind the board. Along the top and bottom, mini trunking knockouts (7 x 35mm x 15mm and 2 x 21mm x 15mm on each side) give you plenty of entry points. That matters on larger boards with many circuits, and it means you don't need to chase walls or cut extra holes in the consumer unit. It's a great fit for solid walls, commercial installations and full rewires using surface trunking.

Robust, Corrosion-Resistant Build

The spacer is made from 1mm electro-galvanised steel, giving a firm, stable base across its full 480mm width. The zinc coating protects against corrosion, and the RAL 9001 powder coating gives a durable, clean finish that sits neatly behind a white consumer unit. At 480mm x 255mm, it gives a wide board a uniform, professional surround.

Fast, Level Fitting

Hang the spacer on wall screws using its four keyhole slots on 382mm x 80mm centres, level it, then tighten it down. You don't need to hold the full width in place while fixing. The consumer unit then fixes to four M6 threaded inserts on 418mm x 183mm centres with the 4 screws supplied, so everything you need to mount the board to the spacer comes in the box.
