AFSS14 Fusebox Consumer Unit 14P Surface Spacer

FuseBox AFSS14 is a 30mm surface spacer for 14P consumer units, made from 1mm electro-galvanised steel and powder coated to RAL 9001. It stands the consumer unit off the wall, creating room behind it for surface cable and mini trunking entry.

Extra Space for Surface Cable Entry

The AFSS14 sets the consumer unit 30mm forward from the wall, creating a neat cavity for cables to route in behind the board. Mini trunking knockouts along the top and bottom (4 x 35mm x 15mm and 2 x 21mm x 15mm on each side) let you bring surface trunking straight into the spacer. You don't need to chase walls or cut extra entries into the consumer unit. That makes it ideal for solid walls, rewires and installations where surface wiring is the practical choice.

Galvanised Steel Strength

The spacer is made from 1mm electro-galvanised steel, so it is rigid enough to support a fully loaded 14P consumer unit and protected against corrosion. The RAL 9001 powder coating gives a durable, clean finish that blends with a white consumer unit. At 300mm wide by 255mm high, it gives the board a tidy, consistent surround.

Hang, Fix and Fit in Minutes

Four keyhole slots let you hang the spacer on wall screws, level it and then tighten it in place, which is quicker and easier than holding it while fixing. The consumer unit then fixes to the spacer's four M6 threaded inserts on 238mm x 183mm centres, using the 4 screws supplied. Everything you need to secure the consumer unit to the spacer is in the box.
