AFSS28 Fusebox Consumer Unit 28P Surface Spacer

FuseBox AFSS28 is a 30mm surface spacer for 28P consumer units, made from 1mm electro-galvanised steel and powder coated to RAL 9001. It holds the consumer unit 30mm off the wall so surface cables and mini trunking can be brought in neatly behind the board.

Neat Surface Wiring for 28P Boards

The AFSS28 creates a 30mm cavity behind a 28P consumer unit, giving plenty of room to route the many circuits a larger board needs. Mini trunking knockouts along the top and bottom let surface trunking run directly into the spacer. You don't need to chase walls or cut extra entries into the consumer unit. That keeps installations tidy on solid walls, in commercial premises and on rewires where surface wiring is the most practical route.

Galvanised for Long Life

The 1mm electro-galvanised steel construction gives a stable base for a fully loaded 28P consumer unit, while the zinc coating guards against corrosion over time. The RAL 9001 powder-coated finish is tough and easy to keep clean, and it complements a white consumer unit for a cohesive, professional look.

Straightforward Wall Fixing

Four keyhole slots let you hang the spacer on wall screws, adjust it until it's level and then tighten it in place. You don't need to support the full weight while fixing. The consumer unit then fixes to the spacer's M6 threaded inserts with the 4 screws supplied, so everything needed to secure the board to the spacer is included.
