The BG Fortress CUCRB40DPA is a 40A B-curve, Type A bidirectional RCBO designed to deliver superior circuit and personal protection in modern domestic and light-commercial installations. Combining overload, short-circuit and 30mA residual-current protection in one ultra-compact single-module device, the CUCRB40DPA safeguards circuits where current may flow in two directions, such as solar PV, battery storage or other generation-capable systems.

Its double-pole isolation disconnects both live and neutral conductors during a fault, enhancing safety and compliance with BS 7671 Amendment 3.

This RCBO is part of BG’s bidirectional range, providing:

30mA Type A RCD protection capable of detecting AC and >6mA pulsed DC leakage

B-curve MCB performance, ideal for lighting and general-purpose circuits with lower inrush characteristics
