Deta.e EVC7161 In-Line 100A Single-Phase MID Energy Meter is a compact 2-module meter for monitoring electrical consumption in EV charging and energy-management installations. Its direct-fed 100A capacity, MID B+D approval and RS485 Modbus communication provide contractors with accurate metering and straightforward system integration from a standard 35mm DIN rail enclosure.

Accurate MID-Approved Energy Measurement

MID B+D certification supports dependable measurement where verifiable consumption data is required. The digital meter records multiple electrical parameters, including active and reactive energy, voltage, current, power, power factor and frequency, giving installers and system operators detailed visibility of circuit performance.

Bi-Directional Monitoring

The EVC7161 measures energy flowing in both directions, including imported and exported kWh. Configurable measurement modes allow total, import and net energy values to be displayed, making the meter suitable for modern electrical installations where energy flow may not always be one-way.

RS485 Modbus Connectivity

RS485 Modbus RTU communication allows metering data to be shared with compatible monitoring and energy-management equipment. Two pulse outputs provide additional integration options, while the backlit LCD and front-mounted buttons make parameters and settings easier to view during commissioning.

Compact DIN Rail Installation

At only two modules wide, the meter conserves valuable enclosure space and clips onto a standard 35mm DIN rail. Direct connection up to 100A removes the need for an external current transformer, helping simplify installation and reduce the number of separate components required.
