Dimplex XLE125 1.25kW Economy 7 Storage Heater

Dimplex XLE125 electric storage heater with an output of 1250W or 1.25kW and with new Ecodesign Compliant controls part of the European Lot 20 directive. Designed to replace conventional storage heaters these heaters have had their energy efficiency boosted with new and upgraded advanced intelligent controls featuring include Adaptive Start and Open Window Sensing technology. The Dimplex XLE is the ultimate upgrade with clean looks and reliable performance and five different power outputs to choose from 500W to 1500W.

Please note Dimplex XLE storage heaters actually require two electricity supplies one for off-peak and one on-peak. All storage heaters require an economy 7 meter to benefit from the low cost, off-peak energy. Please see the Elnur Digital Smart Storage Heaters which can be installed on a single electricity supply if there is an unrestricted economy 7 tariff meter present. The peak supply is connected via a switched fused spur with a fuse rating suitable for the appliances flex. The off-peak supply provided via a 20A double pole switch.

Easy to read display with an RGB backlit digital graphical display and simple to use buttons with audio feedback. The controller can also be locked by a PIN code, ideal for landlords or to prevent children from tampering. The controller system now has a convenient coin cell battery back up that saves re-programming after power outages.

Dynamic storage capacity - the storage heater automatically adjusts to user requirements. The heat output is self-regulated to match the user's lifestyle.

New technology - Open window sensors detect open windows or doors and prevent the heater from wasting energy.

Adaptive-start -  set the desired room temperature the heater warms the room with precision efficiency so the room is ready at the pre-set time. No more guessing how long it will take to heat a room, For example, if you program the heater to 21 degrees at 7 am the heater ensures the room is heated using the minimum amount of energy to 21 degrees at 7 am exactly.

Quiet fan assisted heat output - when boost is required in colder weather the internal fan has the ability to quietly and quickly distribute heat to warm a room when required.

Excellent heat retention -  the Dimplex XLE range is has a storage core constructed from high-density bonded magnetite energy cells, which are excellent at storing heat.

Very efficient heating system - overall the XLE range is a highly efficient heating system with very low running costs maximising off-peak electricity. Low energy and low carbon, great for the user and for the environment.

Dimplex XLS24N, CXLS24 and DUO500N storage heaters have now been discontinued and replaced by the Dimplex XLE125.
