What is the Extraction Rate of Manrose MF100T?

The MF100T has an extraction rate of 68L per second or 245m³/hr. According to UK building regulations, bathrooms require a minimum extraction rate of 50m³/hr or 15L per second. The MF100T surpasses these minimum requirements, ensuring optimal protection against issues such as condensation, damp and mold.

How Long Does Manrose MF100T Run?

The MF100T features an adjustable over-run timer which can be set to allow the fan to continue to run for a maximum of 20 minutes after it has been turned off. This ensures that all moisture and stagnant air are fully extracted.

How to Adjust the Timer on MF100T

To change the amount of time the Manrose MF100T runs after it's turned off, follow these steps:

1.Locate the small rectangular cover on top of the unit and remove the cover
2.Use a small screwdriver to turn the dial in a clockwise direction to increase the running time, or in an anti-clockwise direction to decrease the running time.

How to Adjust the Speed of MF100T?

To change the fan speed on your MF100T inline fan:

1.Disconnect the fan from the mains supply before adjusting

2.Slide the jumper upwards out of the pegs

3.Slide the jumper downwards onto the pegs that correspond with your desired speed

How to Wire Manrose MF100T

To Wire a Manrose MF100T:

1.Turn off mains supply before making electrical connections. If you are unsure, seek assistance from a qualified electrician.

2. Loosen the 4 screws (A) and take off the connection cover

3. Perforate the flex holder (B) to allow the power supply wires to pass through

Ensure You Follow These Guidelines for a Safe Installation:

1.These units are designed for fixed wiring only. Do not use a flexible cord.

2.Ensure all wiring is securely fixed, and the cable to the fan is at least 1mm2 in section.

3.Use a double pole fused spur with contact separation of at least 3mm in all poles, and fit it with a 3A fuse.

4.This fan is double insulated and does not require an earth connection.

5.Ensure the fan is not accessible to anyone using the shower or bath.

What Size Ducting Do I Need for Manrose MF100T?

Manrose MF100T is a 4 inch inline fan which requires 100mm ducting. The ducting may be either flexible or rigid, and it should be positioned to direct air towards the external grille. If the ducting passes through areas with low temperatures, it should be insulated, and flexible ducting should be pulled taut to ensure proper air flow.

What is the Maximum Duct Length for Manrose MF100T?

The maximum duct length suitable for the MF100T is 12 meters. There must also be a minimum of 500mm of ducting on either side of the fan.

How to Clean Manrose MF100T?

Make sure that the mains supply is switched off before carrying out any cleaning or maintainence. The exterior casing of the inline fan can be wiped down with a cloth.

The motor, fan and other components should be regularly checked for dirt or damage. Remove any dirt in the fan blades and internal frame with a dry cloth. Do not submerge any part of the unit in liquid. To disassemble the unit refer to the last page of the installation instructions.
