The Kosnic Neka 2 in 1 EMPAD01/SST is a self-adhesive add-on emergency lighting kit designed to convert any compatible recessed downlight into a compliant non-maintained emergency luminaire — without drilling, without a separate fitting, and without disrupting the ceiling finish. Combining manual test and automatic self-test operation via an internal DIP switch, a 7-year battery life, a 90,700-hour LED lifetime, and fire ratings covering 30-minute I-joist, 60-minute I-joist, and 90-minute solid joist ceilings, it is a fast, cost-effective solution for adding three-hour emergency compliance to existing or new downlight installations.

No Drilling — Self-Adhesive LED Pad for Fast, Clean Installation

The EMPAD01/SST installs without any additional ceiling penetrations. The waterproof LED indicator pad adheres directly to the host downlight fitting using the self-adhesive backing — no drilling into the ceiling, no additional cut-outs, and no visible hardware beyond the downlight itself when installed with a recess-mounted fitting. The driver unit sits within the ceiling void, connected to the mains supply. Manual or Self-Test — Selectable via Internal DIP Switch

In self-test mode, scheduled functional and duration checks run automatically, removing manual test rounds and supporting compliance records.
