Vectaire EL1003HDT — Continuous-Running dMEV Extract Fan with Humidistat, Comfort Timer & Pull Cord
The Vectaire EL1003HDT is a high-efficiency decentralised mechanical extract ventilation (dMEV) fan designed to provide continuous background ventilation with intelligent humidity control. Built for bathrooms, kitchens and other domestic wet rooms, it uses an energy-efficient EC motor to keep running costs low while maintaining reliable extraction to reduce condensation and mould.
This model adds a built-in humidistat and comfort timer, allowing the fan to boost automatically only when needed — ideal for night-time installations where unnecessary noise must be avoided. Installers benefit from simple setup, selectable continuous-running speeds and compliance with Building Regulations Parts F and L.
Efficient, Low-Noise Ventilation for Everyday Use: The EL1003HDT delivers continuous background airflow at pre-selected speeds, ensuring moisture and stale air are extracted before condensation becomes an issue. Patented anti-turbulence deflectors and an anti-vibration gasket help achieve extremely low noise levels, making it suitable for bathrooms situated near bedrooms.
Intelligent Control with Humidistat & Comfort Timer: With an integral humidistat, the fan automatically boosts only when humidity rises — ideal for shower rooms and busy households. The comfort timer activates only if the fan has been running for at least two minutes, preventing accidental night-time operation from brief light switching.
Reliable, Installer-Friendly Design: Engineered using CFD simulations and fitted with a long-life EC motor and ball bearings rated for 43,000 hours, the EL1003HDT offers durable, low-maintenance operation. It installs easily in walls, ceilings or windows (with additional kit) and is approved for Zones 1 and 2 thanks to its IPX4 rating. A 5-year warranty provides further peace of mind on long-term projects.
