Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon Sentinel Kinetic CWH L SELV 477003 Cooker Hood MVHR Unit is a left-hand, white cooker hood heat recovery ventilation system with summer bypass and integral humidity sensor. Designed to fit above a hob in a 600mm wide aperture, it combines whole-house mechanical ventilation with an integrated cooker hood canopy for space-saving kitchen installations.

Integrated Cooker Hood MVHR

The Sentinel Kinetic Cooker Hood combines a heat recovery unit with a telescopic cooker hood canopy, making it ideal where ventilation and kitchen extraction need to be coordinated in one installation. The white SELV hood includes two flat removable metal grease filters and low energy lighting for practical day-to-day use above the hob.

SELV Left-Hand Installation

This 477003 model is the white left-hand SELV version and must be specified to suit the required duct layout, as cooker hood units cannot be handed on site. SELV operation allows the minimum clearance above an electric hob to be reduced to 550mm, helping installers work with tighter kitchen designs.

Efficient Ventilation And Cooking Boost

When the hood is opened, the MVHR unit automatically boosts and the summer bypass opens to prevent cooking by-products entering the heat recovery cell. The galvanised steel duct includes an intumescent fire damper and thermal cut-out for added safety, with access provided for cleaning.

Smart Controls And Easy Commissioning

An integrated digital controller, plug-and-play humidistat controls, BMS connectivity, LS inputs, volt-free inputs and self diagnosis help simplify commissioning and fault finding. The integral humidity sensor automatically increases fan speed in response to moisture, helping maintain good indoor air quality with less unnecessary noise.
