Wylex REC2SPD stand alone insulated 100A isolator switch with Type 2 surge protection device. Provides protection against electrical surges intended for installation on the load side of a domestic consumer unit for properties that fail a risk assessment to meet 18th Edition compliance. Type 2 SPD's limit transient overvoltage due to lightning or switching. The isolator switch is suitable for domestic isolation.

Ideal item when there is no space in an existing consumer unit to fit Surge Protection. Also allows consumer unit to be isolated for whatever reason without having to pull the head fuse.
