Two Vehicles, One Unit

A single Twin Charger serves two vehicles at once from independent Type 2 sockets, each protected by its own hinged flap. That doubles site capacity without doubling the footprint — useful for car parks, workplaces and public charging hubs where space and installation time both matter.

Commercial-Grade Durability

Finished in anti-graffiti coating and rated IP54 with an IK10 impact rating, the Twin Charger is built to withstand heavy public use, vandalism attempts and the weather, whether installed indoors or outdoors. It operates across a wide -25°C to 40°C range and up to 95% humidity, and comes supplied with a surface mount foundation plate as standard, with feeder pillars, protective guards and signage available as ancillaries.

Per-Socket Protection & Compliance

Each socket carries its own Type A 30mA RCD, 6mA DC leakage detection and C40A 10kA MCB, so a fault on one charging bay doesn't take the other out of service. The Pod Point PME fault protection system provides complete earthing protection without an additional earth rod, and the on-board 6mA DC leakage protection is fully compliant with BS7671:2018 — letting it pair with a standard Type A RCD/RCBO rather than a costlier Type B.

Site-Ready Connectivity

Built-in Wi-Fi keeps the charger connected to the Pod Point Network for smart charging and remote management, and this variant adds an integrated 4G router for sites without reliable on-site Wi-Fi. Authentication and charge confirmation run through the Pod Point app, with secure HTTPS data encryption throughout.
