BG Fortress CF19D11S12 — 19 Module / 12 Way Dual RCD Consumer Unit with Type 2 SPD (100A Main Switch)

The BG CF19D11S12 is a 19-module, 12-way dual RCD consumer unit supplied with a 100A main switch, two 80A 30mA Type A RCDs, and a factory-fitted Type 2 SPD to meet the surge-protection requirements of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).

Designed for medium-sized domestic installations, it provides a balanced, regulation-ready solution with excellent circuit separation, enhanced safety, and full compatibility with MCBs, RCBOs, AFDDs and control devices.

Flexible Dual RCD Layout for Safer Circuit Management

The pre-installed 2 × 80A 30mA Type A RCDs allow circuits to be split across two banks, improving fault discrimination and reducing nuisance tripping. This layout supports homes requiring multiple final circuits, such as kitchens, EV chargers, showers, outdoor supplies and lighting zones.

Built-In Type 2 SPD for Surge Protection Compliance

The unit includes a pre-wired Type 2 SPD, providing essential protection against transient overvoltage events caused by lightning or switching surges. This helps protect sensitive electronics and ensures compliance with BS 7671 without additional accessories.

Installer-friendly features include:

Integrated spirit level for accurate mounting

Backed-out and retained terminal screws

Large rear knockouts (two rows) for easy cable routing

40mm knockouts on the top, bottom and sides

Optional cable clamp included
