BG Fortress CF22D8816 — 22 Module 16 Way Dual RCD Consumer Unit (100A Main Switch)

The BG CF22D8816 is a large-capacity 22-module, 16-way dual RCD consumer unit designed to meet the requirements of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671). Supplied with a 100A main switch and two 100A 30mA Type A RCDs, it offers a flexible, compliant and installer-friendly solution for modern domestic and light-commercial installations.

Supporting MCBs, RCBOs, AFDDs, SPDs and a wide range of control devices, this high-integrity board provides excellent circuit separation and protection, making it ideal for larger properties and installations with multiple final circuits.

Flexible Dual RCD Protection for Safer Installations

The CF22D8816 includes two factory-fitted 100A 30mA Type A RCDs, allowing circuits to be split across two banks for improved fault discrimination and reduced nuisance tripping. This configuration offers installers a balanced, regulation-ready layout with plenty of space for expansion.

Engineered for efficiency on site, the unit features:

Large rear knockouts in two rows

40mm knockouts on the top, bottom and sides

Backed-out and retained terminal screws

Integrated spirit level for clean, accurate mounting

The enclosure is finished in RAL9016 Traffic White, offering a clean, modern aesthetic suitable for today’s consumer unit standards.

The unit conforms to BS/EN 61439, with the main switch certified to EN/IEC 60947-3 and RCDs to IEC/EN 61008-01. All BG consumer units undergo stringent testing and are backed by a 10-year manufacturer guarantee for peace of mind.
