Deta.e eDock2 EVC8001 7.4kW Mode 3 EV Charger is a smart, single-phase Type 2 charge point for domestic, workplace and communal installations. App and RFID control, built-in PEN fault detection, dynamic load management and OCPP compatibility give contractors a versatile charging solution that is straightforward to commission, operate and integrate with third-party management platforms.

Smart App And RFID Control

Users can operate the eDock2 through the ElecQ app or either of the two supplied RFID cards. The app supports scheduled charging, energy-use monitoring, cable locking and charge point control, while multicolour LED indicators and adjustable voice prompts provide clear operating feedback.

Built-In Electrical Protection

Integrated PEN fault detection and isolation help make the charger suitable for TN-C-S and TT earthing arrangements. The eDock2 also incorporates a 30mA AC and 6mA DC RDC-DD, Class II isolation and Level III lightning surge protection, reducing the number of separate protection components required within a compliant installation design.

Dynamic Load Management Included

A 100A/100mA CT clamp is supplied for monitoring the incoming electrical load and managing the maximum charging current. The clamp accommodates conductors up to 25mm² and includes a 5m cable that can be extended to 50m, helping protect the installation and DNO fuse from overload.

Flexible Connectivity And Installation

Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth and NFC connectivity support commissioning, user access and remote cloud management. OCPP 1.6J and 2.0.1 compatibility enables integration with compatible third-party charge point operators. The charger can be wall or post mounted, while rear, top and bottom cable-entry points help simplify installation.
