INC402 Fusebox Modular Contactor 40A 2 Pole 230V Normally Open

FuseBox INC402 is a 40A 2-pole normally open (N/O) installation contactor with a 230V 50Hz coil, in a 36mm two-module DIN rail housing. It is built to switch heavier domestic loads reliably from consumer units and modular enclosures.

Heavy-Duty 40A Switching

The INC402 lets a low-power control device, such as a timer or controller, switch a substantial load without carrying the full load current itself. It is rated 40A at AC-7a for small inductive domestic loads such as TVs, mixers and drills. It is rated 15A at AC-7b for rotating machines such as fans, central vacuum cleaners and washing machines. Both poles are normally open, so the load stays isolated until the coil is energised.

Space-Efficient 2-Module Format

The INC402 packs 40A switching into just 36mm of DIN rail. Its terminals take cables up to 16mm², so heavier circuit conductors connect directly. A 4.6VA holding power and 1.6W dissipation keep heat output low inside the enclosure. The contactor clips straight onto a standard 35mm top hat DIN rail for quick fitting.

Built for Compliant Installations

Designed to fit FuseBox consumer units and modular enclosures, the INC402 complies with IEC EN 61095. It has a 500V rated insulation voltage and a 2.5kV impulse withstand rating. When it is fitted beside a protective device, install 9mm spacers on either side to let air circulate. Two spacers come free of charge. Torque settings of 3.5Nm for the power terminals and 0.8Nm for the control terminals help you make secure, reliable connections every time.
