Designed for smaller rooms and tight wall runs, it combines a 270W on-peak balancing element with a high-retention storage core, so most heat is delivered from cheap off-peak energy while only a small output is taken from the day rate.

ECOHHR10 is part of the Ecombi HHR range, built to the “High Heat Retention Storage Heater” SAP category. Its dense storage core, high-quality insulation with low thermal conductivity and front, side and rear air-isolating chambers are designed to retain stored heat for longer, reducing overnight losses and improving comfort from a relatively small installed unit.

Smart IEM Control With Low 270W Balancing Output

Integral Energy Manager (IEM) technology continuously reviews previous days’ operation and room conditions to decide how much energy to store, so ECOHHR10 automatically adjusts its charge instead of relying on fixed manual input settings. The 270W fan-assisted balancing element then provides gentle top-up heat during on-peak periods, smoothing room temperature without placing a large demand on the peak supply – a useful advantage where circuit capacity or tariff rules are tight.

Programmable Comfort For Off-Peak Tariffs

Daily and weekly programming with Comfort, Economy and Frost Protection levels makes it easy to match output to occupancy patterns, while the accurate electronic thermostat and open window detection help reduce wasted energy. ECOHHR10 is designed to work with two-period off-peak tariffs within a single 24-hour interval, charging its storage section (871W, 6.1kWh over 7 hours) overnight and using the low-wattage balancing element to maintain comfort as needed through the day.

Installer-Friendly, Robust Construction

The heater features a specially engineered high-retention core with stainless steel storage elements, Class I insulation and safety thermostat with manual reset, plus overheating protection on the storage function. A steel body finished in epoxy RAL9010, robust thermoplastic fittings and compact 730mm x 490mm footprint make ECOHHR10 straightforward to install on most wall types. A very intuitive keyboard with lock option keeps on-heater operation simple for occupants while limiting tampering in rented or communal spaces.
