The Greenwood Zehnder Unity CV2.1APP Low Energy dMEV Extract Fan provides continuous, energy-efficient ventilation with SMART humidity sensing, adaptive timer control and detailed datalogging. Designed for wet rooms including kitchens and bathrooms, it combines ultra-low energy consumption from just 0.5W, quiet operation from 7.9dB(A) and 100% variable airflow control for straightforward commissioning and effective continuous ventilation.

SMART Ventilation for Humidity & Condensation Control

The Unity CV2.1APP uses intelligent humidity sensing to continuously monitor conditions and automatically increase airflow when a significant humidity spike is detected. Rather than relying on a fixed humidity threshold, the system dynamically adjusts its baseline, helping tackle excess moisture, condensation and damp while avoiding unnecessary fan operation.

Adaptive timer functionality monitors how long the switched live has been active and assigns an appropriate overrun period. This helps minimise unnecessary running time, noise, heat loss and energy consumption while maintaining effective wet-room extraction.

Ultra-Low Energy & Quiet Operation

Using as little as 0.5W, the Unity CV2.1APP is designed to reduce ventilation running costs and energy consumption. Its ultra-low energy DC motor and backwards-curved mixed-flow impeller provide efficient continuous extraction, with a Specific Fan Power as low as 0.10W/l/s.

Independently tested acoustic performance starts from just 7.9dB(A) at 3m in minimum speed mode once installed, making the fan well suited to applications where low operating noise is a priority.

Simple Commissioning & Detailed Datalogging

Front-mounted capacitive touch controls provide convenient access to the commissioning settings without removing the fan cover. Installers can adjust low and high airflow rates with 100% variability using the + and - controls, helping achieve the required ventilation performance without unnecessary over-ventilation.

Once commissioned, the controls can be locked to prevent unwanted changes. Settings are retained following a loss of power, reducing the need for recommissioning after power cuts or maintenance.

Built-in datalogging provides access to information including run time, power-off cycles, current and average humidity, and temperature levels, giving installers and property professionals useful information when investigating ventilation, mould and condensation issues.

Flexible Wall, Window & Ceiling Installation

The Unity CV2.1APP is suitable for wall, window or ceiling installation, with a separate adaptor kit required for window mounting. Its short 68mm spigot design makes it particularly useful where ceiling void depth is restricted, while the 100mm exhaust connection allows connection to standard ductwork.

Protection is rated at IPX5 for wall installations and IPX4 for ceiling installations, supporting use across wet-room applications. The fan has also been tested and certified against the 2021 UK Building Regulations and is listed on the PCDB.
