Aico Ei128RBU hard-wired relay module with battery back up, designed to activate external devices when an alarm system is triggered. The volt free contacts can be configured to set off devices such as indicator lights, magnetic door handles and strobes when a risk is detected. The mains-powered module is installed underneath of an easi-fit base or can be remotely fixed by using the supplied cover. With the choice of continuous or pulse modes, the device can be set up to provide smoke and fire security to a building.

  • The relay is designed to operate while the alarm system is signalling, to trigger ancillary devices such as door closers, extractors, remote sounders etc
  • Compatible with 3000, Ei2100E Multi-Sensor Fire Alarm, 160E Series and 140RC Series
  • Mains powered with rechargeable lithium battery back-up (2 months operation in the event of mains failure)
  • 10 year life on lithium battery
  • Can be used in a set of up to 12 interconnected devices
  • Volt free contacts
  • Internal switch settings: Pulse or continuous
  • Pulse setting will switch back the relay contact after 5 seconds
  • Trunking knock-outs for easy and neat wiring
  • Fixing: Mounts underneath easi-fit base alarm or remotely with supplied cover
  • Voltage: 230V
  • Humidity range: 0% to 99% relative humidity
  • Height: 141mm
  • Width: 21mm
  • Material: Plastic UL94 VO flame retardant
  • Warranty: 5 year (limited) warranty
  • Standards: BS EN 14604:2005

I purchased this relay to install in line with my Aico smoke detectors so I could intergrate them into my intruder alarm system, I now get notifications via my phone if the smoke alarms go off, such a great product and very easy to install 👍
