Aico Ei3018 Mains Carbon Monoxide Detector SmartLINK Compatible

Aico Ei3018 carbon monoxide alarm. Part of Aico's 3000 range, the detector is mains powered with a 10 year tamperproof rechargeable backup battery. Backwards compatible with previous Aico alarms that are either hard-wired, RadioLINK or hybrid interconnecting systems. Built in AudioLink allows you to hold your smartphone or tablet close to the alarm and audibly extract data such as battery and sensor status, alarm activation and testing records, and advice on dust contamination records, via the free App (IOS, Google Play). This alarm is fitted with a unique self-monitoring dust compensation this feature helps reduce false alarms. The sensor is individually calibrated and tested in CO gas to ensure accuracy.

The Ei3018 is part of the 3000 series detectors and can be upgraded to SmartLink Technology by installing the Ei3000mrf Wifi module allowing your connected devices to communicate to each other, as well as providing records of faulty alarms, low batteries, end of life and maintenance records, all from your smart device or desktop. You can also receive emails or text alerts when devices have been triggered among many other features. To enable these features, each property will require the installation of the SmartLINK Ei1000G gateway portal and download the free App (IOS, Google Play). This is perfect for landlords because it keeps an alarm status report from the moment it is first switched on. This report can be emailed and serves as evidence of the records that landlords in the UK are required to maintain.

The Aico Ei3018 also uses AudioLink technology (which comes pre-installed with this alarm).
