Spit HC6-22 FH 057557 pins are 22mm flush-head, collated gas nails designed for high-performance direct fixing into hard concrete, prestressed concrete and structural steel using Spit Pulsa gas nailers. A 3mm hardened carbon steel shank with mechanical zinc coating (approx. 10–20µm) provides reliable penetration and internal corrosion protection on demanding M&E and drywall installs.

22mm Length For Medium Embedment Fixings

The 22mm length gives a useful step up in embedment over 15mm and 17mm pins, making HC6-22 FH a solid choice where you need a bit more bite into the base material – for example heavier drywall track, deflection heads, trunking brackets and containment clips on slabs, beams and cores. Tested in non-cracked concrete, HC6 pins offer characteristic tensile resistance up to 1.19kN at 18mm embedment, with recommended tensile working loads around 0.40kN and shear up to 0.25kN per fixing when spacing and edge distances are observed.

Flush Head Finish For A Clean, Snag-Free Result

These FH (flush head) pins use a premium collation that fragments on impact so there’s no plastic left trapped under the head. Engineered For Hard Concrete & Structural Steel

HC6 pins are hardened to ≥56HRC and are approved for use in concrete from C20/25 to C50/60, prefabricated and prestressed concrete, and structural steels such as S235–S355. In steel, the range delivers characteristic tensile resistances up to 3.74kN with recommended tensile loads up to 1.49kN and shear up to 1.20kN (depending on embedment), helping to maintain a high success rate even in very tough substrates.
