Yes. Hager consumer units are designed to meet current UK wiring regulations, including the requirements of the 18th Edition (BS 7671).

They support modern circuit protection devices such as RCBOs, MCBs and AFDDs, and offer compatibility with surge protection devices where required, ensuring installations are safe, compliant and future-ready.

Design Evo is Hager's current consumer unit range, with features such as quick-release DIN clips, an integrated spirit level and smart lid locators included as standard. Design 10 is Hager's previous range, still available and stocked, but gradually being superseded by Design Evo across most way-counts and configurations. 

Hager offers a comprehensive range of circuit protection devices designed to safeguard electrical installations. These include:

  • MCBs (Miniature Circuit Breakers) – Protection against overloads and short circuits
  • RCBOs – Combined protection against overloads, short circuits and earth leakage faults
  • AFDD RCBOs – Advanced protection that also detects arc faults to help prevent electrical fires

This range allows installers to choose the appropriate level of protection depending on the application and safety requirements.

Yes. Hager produces Type 2 surge protection devices for use within consumer units and distribution boards, either as a built-in provision on many Design Evo boards or as a separate modular SPD kit for retrofitting into existing installations.

Hager Type A devices detect both AC and pulsating DC residual currents, making them suitable for modern electrical installations with electronic loads such as appliances and LED lighting. Type AC devices detect AC faults only and are less commonly used in newer Hager systems.

The Hager Sollysta range includes white moulded sockets, switches, fused connection units and USB outlets designed for residential and light commercial installations.

It combines a clean, modern appearance with practical installation features, making it a popular choice for electricians working on new builds, refurbishments and maintenance projects.

Hager Klik is a plug-in lighting connection system primarily used in commercial and industrial environments. It allows luminaires, ceiling roses and lighting controls to be installed quickly and safely without traditional hard wiring.
